Dave is a native Chicagoan that spent a good deal of time in Northern Wisconsin and traveling the Western United States. He studied art at The School of the Art Institute in Chicago and several other area colleges. Dave has also studied photography, digital imaging, computer programming and web design at Governors State University.

Early work included oils and acrylics but some of his best work was done with pastels. Photography was more or less a hobby until introduced to digital imaging. The ability to merge photographic work with traditional art inside the computer brought new life to his imagery.

Dave currently works for the University of Chicago and has two children that attend college in Illinois. On St.Patrick's Day, 2000 he married a wonderful woman from Colorado named Carol.

I'm currently taking a break from photography because of some other exciting projects. I plan to resume photographic art in 2004 with a backlog of new ideas. Thanks for stopping by!
